MyRx offers a simple fee-for-service model for patients who either have prior pharmacogenomic testing or need testing completed.
I already have Pharmacogenetic Test Results
Educational Consultation Only
- Must have existing pharmacogenetic test results from an approved laboratory that you will provide to MyRx.
- Video consultation with a pharmacogenetics-specialized pharmacist. The pharmacist will review your medication history, interpret test results and develop a specific medication plan for your doctor.
Upload Results & Complete Medication History
Upload results you received from previous pharmacogenetic testing and provide a list of current and past medications using our secure patient portal.
Educational Video Consult with Your Pharmacogenetics Specialist
During your educational video consultation, your pharmacogenetics specialist will review your results with you and answer any questions.
Provide Results to your Doctor
Receive interpretation results to share and review with your doctor.
I need Pharmacogenetic Testing Done
Pharmacogenetic Testing & Educational Consultation
- Panel-based test performed by UF Health pathology laboratory
- Video consultation with a pharmacogenetics-specialized pharmacist. The pharmacist will review your medication history, interpret test results and develop a specific medication plan for your doctor.
*Established UF Health patients may be eligible to have some costs covered by insurance.
Insurance Coverages
- Insurance coverage for pharmacogenetic testing is variable, you can inquire directly with your insurance company about coverage.
- If you are not a UF Health patient, the test will not be submitted to your insurance and you will pay the cash price for the pharmacogenetic test. We accept certain insurances, if your insurance is not accepted you will pay the cash price for the pharmacogenetic test and receive an itemized receipt when you complete your payment and you may choose to submit this to your insurance company with a medical claim form to try and obtain reimbursement directly from your insurance company.
- If you would like a medical claim form filled out, please email us a blank form obtained directly from your insurance company, we will fill it out and send it back to you within one week.
- If you do not have insurance, you will be responsible for the full fee as described above.

- Gene must be supported by high level of evidence
